Quick release
- Don't ever attach yourself to a kite without a quick release.
- Don't ever kite without a good kite leash (or with handles, keep hold of one handle)

- roads
- rail tracks
- children/babies/old people/picknicks/sun bathers/Bar-b-q's....

Gusts / Squalls
Be prepared to release during a gust. This is scary shit - suddenly so over powered you can't control the kite. So keep calm, think, get the kite low, watch, then release when it's safe.

Release to kite leash.
